In the negotiations with Moscow on security guarantees in Europe, the West tried to approve his dominance on the world stage. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov on the Ether of the program “Big Game” on the First Channel, RIA Novosti reports.
“It was fully expressed in the course of the negotiations, although I can confirm the negotiations were businessmen. Here is this position of the West, a rather tough, an arrogantic somewhere, non-adeciling and uncompromising, set forth quite calmly,” the Foreign Minister said. He also pointed to the hardness of Russia’s position in negotiations with NATO and the United States.
According to him, despite the rigid position of Western countries on Russian proposals regarding security guarantees in Europe, Moscow has arguments. According to him, they “concerned the principle of the indivisibility of security.” Diplomats of the Russian Federation sent the United States and NATO to the agreements reached within the OSCE and the Euro-Atlantic Community.
