Today in the Organization for Safety and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) there are signs of systemic degradation. This was stated by the Permanent Representative of Russia at the OSCE Alexander Lukashevich, reports TASS.
The words of Lukashevich sounded at the first meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council this year. In this state of affairs, the Russian diplomat accused the United States and the North Atlantic Alliance. According to him, its US and NATO restraining policy led to the “depressing state of affairs in the OSCE space.”
January 12 at a press conference on the results of the meeting of the Russian Federation Council, the Deputy Department of the Russian Federation Alexander Grushko said that the introduction of the former Soviet Baltic republics in NATO was the cause of strengthening of tensions in Europe. According to him, the entry of the Baltic countries in the Alliance turned the most calm region in the village of military rivalry.
