In his appeal, Nazarbayev called the tragic events that occurred in the country, and also expressed condolences to the families of all those killed. “Let this brutal lesson for all of us become the last in our story. It is wrong when people are dying in peacetime,” she stressed.

Nazarbayev served as president of Kazakhstan for almost 30 years and left him in March 2019.
