In Russia, they will create a VR simulator to work out service SU-57

The United Aircraft Corporation (OAK) of the State Corporation “Rostech” is working on the VR-simulator for the preparation of technical personnel. The use of virtual reality technologies will increase the efficiency of servicing Russian Su-35 and Su-57 aircraft. This is reported on the website of the State Corporation.

The simulator includes a virtual reality helmet, controllers and a computer with a program that recreates the aviation complex. This will allow virtually to work out all the technological processes of aircraft maintenance.

First Deputy General Director of Rostech State Corporation Vladimir Artakov noted that the promising complex is designed to work out the maintenance of SU-35 fighters and SU-57. He stated that the test of the complex is planned to be completed in 2022.

In December, it became known about creating a VR-simulator for miners. The development of Tambov State Technical University (TSTU) allows you to simulate emergency situations in the mine.

In November, the project of using augmented reality when assembling SU-57 received the main award of the OAK contest. Perspective technology will allow you to apply a digital model of the unit to the real object.
