Foreign Ministry compared security proposals with raisin bun

Russian proposals for security guarantees in Europe are absolutely understandable and interrelated. This was stated by the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Alexander Grushko, following the results of the meeting of the Russian Council – NATO. His press conference is broadcast by Youtube-channel “RBC”.

“Their [Proposals of Russia] can not be considered as a bun, from which you can lock something, some kind of raisins,” the diplomat noticed. According to him, at the talks on January 12, Russia and NATO could not take a specific decision regarding the algorithm for further actions due to the fundamental difference in the approaches.

“We also look forward to the fact that NATO countries will present their considerations on how it is possible to go on the path of the implementation of those proposals that we have put forward, or explain why they are unacceptable,” Alexander Grushko expressed the hopes of the Russian side.
