During the discussion between representatives of NATO and Russia, the parties also discussed the possibility of mutual restoration of their missions in Moscow and Brussels. This was stated by the Secretary General of Alliance Jens Stoltenberg at a press conference.
According to him, the Alliance is interested in strengthening ties at the military and civil levels, as well as in the resumption of the NATO mission in Moscow and the Mission of the Russian Federation in Brussels. Representatives of the Parties agreed that one more meeting should be held. The Alliance is ready to appoint a re-meeting, the parties will discuss their schedule soon.
Stoltenberg acknowledged that in general the discussion was not easy, but unambiguously necessary.
