NATO is ready to lead a dialogue with Russia about mutual restriction on missiles, as well as a matter of nuclear policy. This was stated by the Secretary General of Alliance Jens Stoltenberg at a press conference.
“We support control of arms. I know that you can agree, but then, of course, you need checked, balanced restrictions as ordinary and nuclear forces,” said Stoltenberg.
According to him, NATO was in such a situation, because Moscow has violated an agreement on the elimination of rockets of medium and smaller range (DRSMD). At the same time, the head of the alliance stressed that the union is ready to sign a new similar document.
