Earlier in Central and Northern Germany, about 30 thousand Germans went to the streets in protest against new antique restrictive measures. Large protests were held in Mecklenburg, Pomerania, Thuringia, Saxony and Brandenburg. The police opened criminal cases against the organizers of rallies for violating the law on meetings and processions in the country.
