The US Army chose a sighting system for the next generation small arms. Smart Fire Management System XM157 will supply Sheltered Wings. It is reported by the ARMY TIMES edition.
A contract worth $ 2.7 billion is designed for ten years. Military plans to get 250 thousand fire control systems XM157 as part of the NEXT Generation Squad Weapon – Fire Control (NGSW-FC) program. L3 Harris was also attended in the competition for the supply of sighting systems.
