Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed to index pensions above the inflation level – by 8.6 percent, RIA Novosti reports.
In December, Putin, during a large press conference, answered the question about the plans for indexing pensions above the level of actual inflation. According to the head of state, the government will do everything to fulfill the promises of past years about pensions.
For indexing insurance pensions in 2022, an additional funding in the amount of 150-200 billion rubles is needed at a level not lower than actual inflation.
Analyst management of trade operations on the Russian stock market “Freeda Finance” Alexander Osin believes that with inflation 8.5 percent, additional funding should be at least 212.7 billion rubles.
