Progress in negotiations with Russia can only be achieved with the realistic position of Moscow, a high-ranking representative of the US State Department said. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
“We believe that there are spheres in which progress can be achieved if Russia is realistic,” said the representative of the State Department.
Earlier, a spokesman for the White House Jen Psaki at a briefing refused to comment on future negotiations with Russia. She stressed that the White House does not intend to predict the results of the negotiations of the United States and Russia on security issues. Psaki added that it was previously expressed about the expectations of the American side from this dialogue.
January 10 will begin negotiations between Russia and the United States in Geneva. On January 12, the Council of Russia – NATO in Brussels will be held, and on January 13 – a meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna.
