Ruble on Friday, January 7, confidently grew to the dollar and to the euro. The Russian currency at the end of the festive trading week was able to compensate for more than half of the fall of this year. This is reported by the Agency “Prime” with reference to the data of the Moscow Exchange.
As of 17:41 Moscow time, the dollar rate fell by 1.01 rubles, to 75.31, the euro rate is 83 kopecks, to 85.27 rubles.
It is noted that positive moods were dominated on Friday on Friday, which helped the ruble to compensate for the fall to the main reserve currencies prevailing in early January.
Earlier it was reported that the ruble was estimated at the end of 2020 against the dollar by 16.7 percent. At the end of the year, the course was 74.42 rubles, and a year earlier – 61.99 rubles. In March, the dollar rose sharply by almost a third and reached the mark of 81.97 rubles. In relation to the euro, the Russian currency fell by 24.1 percent. At the end of 2020, the euro rate was 91.52 rubles.
