Russia hopes that the United States will not question the right of Kazakhstan to obtain assistance to the organization of the Collective Security Treaty (CSTO) in accordance with the Charter of the Organization. Such a statement made the Russian Ambassador in Washington Anatoly Antonov in an interview with NEWSWeek.
“We hope that no one will question the right of Kazakhstan to apply Article 4 of the Charter of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. This was done to ensure the law and law enforcement in the Union republic,” Antonov explained.
Diplomat stressed that Russia is considering provoked by the outside of violent events in a friendly country as aimed at violating its safety and integrity. “We will promote efforts to restore normal life in Kazakhstan,” the ambassador emphasized.
