From 7 to 19 January, the Baikonur introduced restrictions on movement in the city at night. This is stated in the appeal of the head of the administration of the city of Konstantin Busgin.
Restrictions will be valid from 23:00 to 6:00. At night, Baikonur checkpoints will also be closed. “Finding on the street and travel around the city at this time is allowed only for work and to follow the pharmacy,” said Busygin. The city also limited the time of work of shops and catering establishments (they should be closed at 22:00) and banned retailers alcoholic beverages.
Earlier in the Baikonur administration also reported that popular squads will be created. They will be formed at urban enterprises and will be together with the police patrol the city.
