Kazakhstan has restored access to wired internet

In the capital of Kazakhstan, Nur-Sultan resumed access to a wired Internet. About this on January 7 reports TASS.

It is specified that access to the wired Internet in the city was limited to Thursday, January 6, at about 16:40 Moscow time due to riots in the country. Communication problems were observed in other cities. In particular, in Alma-Ata it was impossible to make calls and accept incoming calls.

At the same time, the connection to the mobile Internet is still impossible, the agency correspondent notes.

Riots in Kazakhstani cities last for several days. The protests began on January 2 due to the increase in gas prices for cars from 60 to 120 tenge. Later, they turned into disorders with the requirements of the first president of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev from politics, new elections and dissolution of parliament.
