Almaty residents warned about marauders on streets of city

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan warned the inhabitants of the Marauders on the streets of Almaty. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

As reported by the agency, in various parts of the city, attackers are crashed offices, ATMs and shops break. The departments were warned that the acts of vandalism were organized by provocateurs, and called citizens not to succumb to them.

Previously protesters in Alma-Ata captured the building of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan, the International Airport, and also tried to capture the police building.

January 5 throughout Kazakhstan was introduced a state of emergency (PE). This regime limits movement, introduces a ban on mass assemblies and strikes, and also allows law enforcement officers to conduct personal inspection of citizens and cars.

Protests in Kazakhstan began on Sunday, January 2, due to the increase in gas prices for cars from 60 to 120 tenge (from 10 to 20 rubles) per liter.
