German police dogs removed from service

In Berlin, dozens of police dogs were removed from the service because of the new German law aimed at combating animal congestion. It is reported by the GUARDIAN newspaper.

It is about the fact that earlier law enforcement officers used special collars for straightening service dogs on criminals. However, with the entry into force of the new law, their use has become illegal.

Because of this, the Berlin Police was forced to send “on vacation” 49 out of about 130 dogs who participated in the operations to delay criminals, search for drugs and explosives, as well as missing people. Law enforcement officers have to find a new way to control animals that will not contradict new legislation.

Earlier, Pope Francis accused pets lovers in egoism due to the fact that they are breeding pets, not wanting to create a family and give birth to children. According to him, the replacement of children with pets “deprives us humanity.” It is confident that in this way people refuse to preserve the values of motherhood and fatherhood, which will eventually lead to the fading of civilization.
