Mass protests in Kazakhstan began on January 2 due to the increase in fuel prices almost twice. As a result, after the appropriate instructions of the President of the Republic of Kasima-Zhomart Tokaeva, the government introduced the regulation of dysel fuel prices, gasoline and liquefied gas for a period of 180 days.
The authorities also intend to introduce a moratorium on an increase in water supply tariffs, drainage, heat supply, gas supply and power supply.
