In Kazakhstan’s cities of Almaty and Aktau, a new collection of protesters on the squares began. This is reported by “Sputnik Kazakhstan” in its Telegram Channel.
According to the publication, there are about 200-250 people in Almaty on the square.
In Aktau, people do not put forward new requirements, but discuss organizational issues, including the need to export garbage.
Earlier it was reported that several major shopping centers were defeated in Almaty Marauders. The centenant of the city stated that the radical supporters of the riots inflicted great damage to the city.
The riots in Kazakhstan began due to the increase in fuel prices – the gas began to cost 120 tenge instead of 60 per liter (the price rose from 10 to 20 rubles). President of the Republic of Kasim-Zhomart Tokayev asked for help in organizing a collective security agreement (CSTO).
