A “serious and imminent danger”: it is by this formula that the staff of the Elsa-Triolet College of Saint-Denis (Seine-Saint-Denis) argued their right of withdrawal, Wednesday, January 5th. Not or very few courses, three days after the return, for the students of this establishment: 16 of the 22 teachers who are ordinary, on Wednesday, participated in the movement. The second of this type since the beginning of the sanitary crisis. “We see each other to tirelessly repeat our weak means of action, facing the tireless repetition of a dangerous scheme for our community,” they wrote in their communiqué.
As an example of this “dangerous scheme”, Iñaki Echahaniz, senior education advisor (CPE), advance a “symbol”: in full overlooking of Omicron, this college of 530 students – brought back to 480 from Made of sixty young people who were absent, this Tuesday is based on a “fragile medical pole”. “Our nurse, as a half-time, is only present on Tuesday and Friday,” said this union at the SNES-FSU. The contact-tracing on which is supposed to be associated with the re-entry sanitary protocol can “very difficult to” be supported.
And this is not the only problem: the main was also absent, Wednesday, reports the CPE, as well as a majority of education assistants and than a dozen teachers. “To hold COVID accounting, I opened a spreadsheet, and we tinker. I only hope not to switch positively in my turn in the next few days.”
“The framework conditions have become dangerous in the state, for our students and for ourselves”, underlines a teacher of letters, not unionized, under the cover of anonymity. And to remember that “his” department, one of the youngest in France, is also one of those where the vaccine coverage is “set back” and the “overflowed” laboratories.

Contractual hirings, as the institution has just committed, will they bring the solution? “We would find in a week a replacement pool where they have been waiting for them for months? We would like to believe it”, sighs the CPE, reporting that the college has “had to hold” without a professor of music or physics-chemistry. “It would take a re-evaluation of the health protocol, an answer adapted to each territory”, addresses the teacher of letters. She also defends the “return to the half-gauges”: “Anyway, by the force of things, the numbers melt …” Elsewhere, institutions seem to be prepared, of themselves, to make the “rocking” . Other Team Claims: Masks, CO Sensors 2 (The Department is committed to providing), school life staff … “Real” recruitments.
