Tokayev said exacerbation of situation in Kazakhstan undermining integrity of state

President Kasim-Zhomart Tokayev held a meeting of the Security Council, during which he stated that the situation in the country aggravated to such a scale at which there was a subservation of the most integrity of the state, and also called it an attack on fellow citizens. This is reported on the official website of the president.

“In fact, this is no longer a threat – it is undermining the integrity of the state, and most importantly is an attack on our citizens who ask me as the head of state to urgently provide assistance to them,” Tokaev said.

He also added that his constitutional duty is to concern for the well-being, security and peace of the citizens of the republic. The President assured that the fellow citizens needed to protect the life interests.
