Last year, the Khrunichev Center (Roskosmos State Corporation) defended the sketch project on the Space Rocket Complex (KRK) “Cup”. Currently, working design documentation for an upgraded Angara-A5M carrier launch is being developed. The completion of this stage is planned in 2022, then the manufacture of prototypes and stand products of the upgraded rocket will begin.
The first launch of the Angara-A5M carrier missile from the East cosmodrome as part of the beginning of the flight tests should take place in 2023. Specialists of the Khrunichev Center and related organizations work on guaranteed fulfillment of these deadlines.
In the framework of the creation of Energy Energy Specialists (enters Roscosmos) of the promising piloted new generation ship in front of the center of Khrunichev, the task was tasked to ensure the launches of this ship from the Eastern cosmodrome, including the crew. The state corporation “Roskosmos” completes the design of the appropriate addition to the TTZ, where the necessary requirements are introduced.
In parallel in the center of Khrunichev, the necessary changes are being developed in the center of Kooperats, which concern primarily the crew security systems, which will be equipped with a carrier rocket.
The launch of the modernized rocket with the manned ship and the crew is a more distant perspective. State Corporation defines specific deadlines, but approximately can be said about the end of 2025.
