One of the eyewitnesses and a natural participant of protest rallies in Kazakhstan in a conversation with “news” revealed the details of the clashes with security forces during the riots.
According to a young man, the information distributed in the media cannot fully describe what is happening in Almaty, “this is all done so that there is less information.” He stated that many more people came to rallies than shown on rollers on the network, and the security forces used more cruel measures.
The man added that law enforcement officers in the process of suppressing rallies used tear gas, which was funded not only demonstrators, but also nearby women, old people and children.
Protests in Kazakhstan against rising fuel prices began on January 2. In some cities, the protesters called on the first President of the Republic of Nursultan Nazarbayev to leave politics. On January 4, the collisions of protesters with security forces occurred on the Republic of the Republic in Alma-Ata, the unrest began in other cities of the country.
As a result, President Kasim-Zhomart Tokayev introduced in the city and in the Mangystau region of the PE and Commandant’s Magistau regime, and later accepted the resignation of the government of the republic.
