The head of the US State Department of Ned Plyce said that the negotiations of the United States and Russia in Geneva in the framework of the dialogue on strategic stability will be limited to bilateral issues. His words report RIA Novosti.
“Our important principle is – not to discuss anything concerning them, without them. We will not discuss the topics that relate to NATO or Europe, we will talk about the narrow and bilateral issues,” said the Representative of the State Department.
He recalled that in addition to the dialogue scheduled for January 10, a meeting of the Russia-NATO Council will be held on January 12, then on January 13, negotiations will be held at the OSCE Playground in Vienna.
Price stressed that “some Russian proposals have a bilateral nature, while some relate to multilateral issues”, which the United States will not discuss with Moscow without the participation of the Allies. “However, even with respect to bilateral format (with Russia), we will continue to act transparently with our allies and partners,” the representative of the State Department assured.
