In 2021, it was decided to start the sketch design of the Russian orbital station. The creation of the Russian orbital station will preserve the presence of the Russian Federation at a low near-earth orbit and ensure the fulfillment of a wide range of tasks. According to the results of the sketch design of the station, solutions will be made on its appearance and orbit. It is not excluded that foreign partners will be admitted to participation in the project of a new orbital station.
on the East Space
In 2021, flight designs of the Soyuz-2 Space Rocket Complex on the Eastern Cosmodrome were carried out. 5 launches of the Soyuz-2 carrier missile with ONEWB devices were produced. The continuation of the “Soyuz-2” flight tests is organized in part of the test starts scheduled for 2022.
In 2021, the technical design of the Cospace Rocket Complex “Amur” of the first stage with the Angara-A5 rocket and the modernized “hangary-a5m” was completed.
Completed the sketch design of the Amur complex of the second stage with a perspective rocket-carrier of heavy-class enhanced lifting capacity “Angara-A5V” with an oxygen-hydrogen-based third step. According to its results, decisions will be made to further develop the Cosmic Rocket Complex “Amur”.
In the course of the creation of the terrestrial space infrastructure of the Eastern cosmodrome, work is carried out on the creation and addition of a unified technical complex of the cosmodrome, to create equipment of the starting complex of the Soyuz-2 spacecraft complex, special means of transporting the component parts of the heavy-class cosmic rockets (“Angara A5 “, overclocking block, manned transport ship), refilling and neutralized stations, physico-chemical laboratories, sets of storage and transportation of rocket fuel components.
Innovative Development
In 2021, the Soviet Council of the State Corporation “Roskosmos” approved the program of innovative development of the state corporation “Roskosmos” for the period 2019-2025.
At the perimeter of the head research organization of the Rosniamash Rocket and Space Industry (Roskosmos State Corporation) began the implementation of the project technopark of space technologies named after K.E. Tsiolkovsky. Technopark should be a platform for the development of innovation, diversification and implementation of promising technologies in the Russian space industry. The opening of the technopark is scheduled in 2024.
various nanostructured coatings are developed, methods for applying, composite and self-healing materials that ensure the expansion of the functionality of rocket-space products. Studies in the field of nanotechnology and nanomaterials for use in rocket and space technology will be continued in 2022-2025.
