President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed a law on the republican budget for 2022. This is reported on the website of the Head of the Belarusian State.
It is noted that the main financial document and the calculated indicators are approved taking into account the emerging economic situation. Revenues are projected in the amount of 27.8 billion Belarusian rubles (10.9 billion dollars). The State News Agency Belarus BelTA argues that expenses are scheduled at 30.8 billion rubles ($ 12.03 billion).
Deputy Minister of Finance Elena Liver stated that the budget was approved with an acceptable deficit of about 1.5 percent to GDP. “The sources for its financing are guaranteed to eat – these are the remnants of the previously accumulated funds of the budget,” she said.
A significant part of the cost will be aimed at paying for labor, paying pensions, scholarships, benefits and other social benefits. Admission to the budget will be formed from value added tax, income tax, excise tax, as well as tax revenues from foreign economic activity
December 3, Lukashenko stated that the Belarusian economy was unprecedented on the scale and depth of pressure from the outside. He noted that the country has managed to preserve economic growth, in immaculately pays for the public debt and has no right to lose this reputation. According to the president, the main task for the next year is to export exports and consolidation in world markets.
