US Defense Minister Lloyd Austin received a positive test on COVID-19, reported on the Pentagon website.
US Defense Minister infected Coronavirus and requested a test after he noticed the first symptoms of the disease on holidays at home. Austin said that his illness manifests itself easily and it follows the instructions of the doctor. Therefore, the head of the Pentagon went to quarantine.
“In accordance with these instructions and according to CDC recommendations, I will be at home on quarantine for the next five days,” is emphasized in the minister’s statement.
Earlier it was reported that an employee of the White House, who worked closely with the US President Joe Biden, fell ill coronavirus. The president handed over two tests for the presence of infection. Both analyzes showed a negative result, so Biden did not go to quarantine.
