Rogozin about plans to increase number of space launches doubled

Roskosmos General Director Dmitry Rogozin said that Russia intends to increase the number of space launches in two or three times. It is reported by RBC.

Rogozin added that with the beginning of the active stage of unfolding the orbital multi-contact grouping “Sphere” Russia plans to run 50-75 missiles annually.

In addition, the head of the Russian Corporation noted that the use of an oxygen-hydrogen acceleration unit of a heavy class (KVTK) will increase the carrying capacity of the carrier rocket, its power will exceed 30 tons.

In August, Dmitry Rogozin stated that the state corporation would receive the first funds for the creation of a scientific and technical nestling under the program “Sphere” in the coming days. “At first, we are talking about seven billion rubles, which should be implemented to create a scientific and technical nestling, that is, not the group, but the prototypes of the grouping,” he said.
