From January 1, 2022, insurance pensions will grow in Russia, they will be indexed by 5.9 percent. The corresponding increase is laid in the budget of the Russian Pension Fund (FIU) for 2022-2024.
Fixed payment to the insurance pension from January 1, 2022 will be 6401 rubles. Social pensions will increase – from April 1, by 7.7 percent.
At the same time, at the end of 2021, Russian President Vladimir Putin promised to increase pensions above the actual inflation level. He pointed out that the government will do everything to fulfill the promises of past years. According to the Central Bank of Russia, inflation at the end of the year may exceed 8 percent.
