President of Estonia kidnapped Gypsies

Estonian President Alar Caris said that he was kidnapped by Gypsies as a child. Reports about it DELFI.

According to Caris, he was four years or five years. They and grandmother went to the market in Tartu, and there the boy took the Gypsies with him. At that time, they had a tent camp in Tartu. “I was taken from them from the Tartu Bus Station,” said the president.

He noted that he does not remember the moment of abduction, nor returns and does not know why he was trying to pick up the Gypsies. “But some kind of plan [they] had to be, since they took the boy with them with blond hair in a white fur coat. Perhaps I could be now the Gypsy Baron,” added Caris.

Alar Caris became president of Estonia in October. Before that, he was several years a director of the Estonian National Museum.
