Voronezh Rocket Engineering Center, which is included in the integrated structure of the Roskosmos Academician Glushko Roskosmos, conducted the first tests of the oxygen-hydrogen engine RD-0146D1 for the new acceleration unit of the Space Rocket “Angara-A5”. According to the director of JSC “Design Bureau of Himavtomatiki” Sergey Kovalev, the engine will be able to increase the energy characteristics of the rocket.
