In Russia, they declared Moscow’s willingness to negotiate with EU on migration

Moscow is ready for negotiations with Brussels on the issue of migration. This was stated by the postprared of Russia at the European Union Vladimir Chizhov.

“Regarding migration negotiations, yes, we are ready to discuss with the European Union [appropriate topic],” said the diplomat.

According to him, Russia has extensive experience in migration issues as “country of outcome, a country of transit and a finite country.” He pointed out that in Russia “there are many” migrants from the post-Soviet spaces.

“How to contact them, we have experience. And I will venture to say that in many respects more successful than the European Union,” the chizhov concluded.

The migration crisis on the border of the European Union began at the end of May. Large groups of illegal migrants from Africa and the Middle East began to storm the borders of Lithuania, Poland and Latvia in the hope of getting refuge. The authorities of the European States believe that the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, is involved in the organization of the crisis, who uses the National Tour Operator “Centerkurort” to cross the EU borders to provoke a migration crisis and provide political pressure on Brussels.
