President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko flew out of Minsk to St. Petersburg to participate in an informal meeting of the Heads of Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). About it reports BelTA.
According to the agency, at a meeting, which will be held on December 28, on Tuesday, the results of the Belarusianism of Belarus in the organization in 2021 will be summed up, as well as discussed issues of socio-economic development of its participants. The Commonwealth Summit will be the anniversary – in December 2021, it turned 30 years from the date of creation of the CIS.
On December 24, it became known that during a visit to Russia, Lukashenko is planned to meet with Russian colleague Vladimir Putin. It will be held on Wednesday, December 29th. The heads of the Union State will talk about topical issues of Belarusian-Russian cooperation.
Earlier during the Great Annual Press Conference, the Russian President revealed the main directions of integration between Moscow and Minsk. Countries will focus efforts on the synchronization of customs and tax systems, as well as legislation.
