Press Secretary of the President of Belarus Natalia Eismont on the TV channel ONT stated that Minsk was accustomed to the sanctions of the West.
“But you need to constantly react, you need to constantly be in a tone when our runaway opponents have been announced to their people,” she noted. According to Eismont, in this regard, the President of the country Alexander Lukashenko constantly “kept his hand on the pulse.”
Press secretary of the Belarusian leader added that the current year was not simple “or for the country or the head of state.” She noted that the problems were associated with a coronavirus infection pandemic. Eismont added that the 2021th was also “a year of very large, very painstaking work on the modernization of the political system.”
December 2, the EU adopted a fifth package of sanctions against Belarus due to the situation with migrants on the Polish-Belarusian border. The blacklist includes more than 25 individuals and legal entities, including Belavia, Grodno Nitrogen and BelarusNeft.
