The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia appreciated the effectiveness of the regional authorities in terms of promoting competition in commodity markets for 2020. Among the leaders were Udmurtia, Nizhny Novgorod, Magadan, Tomsk, Rostov region, and Ingushetia, Kalmykia and Adygea are named after lagging in the ranking. One of the best practices recognized the project of the Murmansk region – “Innovative voucher”: in its framework they help to small and medium businesses working using innovation. Praised in the government and project of the Belgorod region “Competition of business startups for beginners and existing entrepreneurs aged 18 to 35 years old.” In the region, they came up to conduct a competition in the format of a realistic show, which popularizes entrepreneurship and attracts the attention of the audience. The participants in the competition are gradually eliminated, and as a result, one winner is determined, which receives a million rubles and the opportunity to realize his idea under the guidance of an experienced entrepreneur.
According to the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Ilya Torosov, each year in the leaders of the rankings are different regions: for example, the Omsk region turned out to be in the first time. “It means that there is a healthy competition among the regions,” said the deputy minister.
He held a meeting of the interdepartmental working group, where a new rating was approved. Representatives of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS), Bank of Russia and the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Service (Ranjigs) took part in the meeting.
