According to him, the Polish border guards “under the fear of death” forced the military to shoot in migrants, because “they did not want to mess around with refugees. “The border guards said that they would kill us if we would not do what they were told,” says Chechko.
Migrants were shot by whole groups, it reminded the scenes from films about the second world war, told the serviceman. “As a movie show how the Germans shoot people – this is how it looked more or less,” Chechko explained.
Previously, he told that Polish security forces shot not only migrants, but also volunteers trying to help refugees.
