According to the results of polls, most often Americans hide gifts in the closet in the bedroom, 53 percent of respondents reported. There are usually looking for gifts. In second place – any unoccupied rooms (32 percent), then the wardrobe and place under the bed (26 percent of respondents announced), and after – the car trunk (25 percent).
47 percent of respondents admitted that they make surprises to children, 38 percent partners. Each fifth respondent hides presents for friends, parents, brothers or sisters. It is reported that half of the hidden gifts were eventually found. Strong stress due to this is experiencing every fifth.
Earlier in December, it became known how many Russians are ready to spend on New Year’s gifts. Superjob service survey showed that the average budget for this is about 13 thousand rubles. It is noted that the majority of respondents (66 percent) are going to buy gifts to their relatives. 32 percent of respondents noted that they would give something to their beloved, and 19 percent – friends.
