Russian President Vladimir Putin held telephone conversations with his Serbian counterpart Alexander Vucich. According to the press service of the Serbian leader, Putin and Vucich discussed the energy situation in Europe and the world, also a question of the conversation was raised by the issue of supplying additional volumes of gas to Serbia, TASS reports.
“President Putin assured President Vucic that Russia will adhere to the agreements and that Serbia this winter will have sufficient gas volumes, two statesmen also talked about the possibilities for providing additional gas volumes,” the report says.
The leaders of the two states expressed their readiness to further cooperate in Serbia and Russia on the issues of the bilateral agenda. Putin and Vucic also noted the results of cooperation between countries, in particular, strengthening the economic relations of Serbia and Russia, and also emphasized the availability of opportunities and places for new projects in the field of economics.
Vuchich also thanked Putin for the supply of PSTR “Kornet”, calling the anti-tank missile systems of Russian production best in the world.
