On Baikonur goes second starter day 25 December

On Saturday, December 25, 2021, the joint calculation of the subsidiaries of Roskosmos State Corporation began work on the schedule of the second starting day in the ONEWEB mission number 37. In the morning, there are managers of enterprises-manufacturers of space technology, representatives of the state corporation management “Roskosmos “, Companies” Glavkosmos “and OneWeb.

On the eve of the export of Space Rocket Soyuz-2.1b / Frigate / OneWeb on the starting range of the Baikonur cosmodrome site. Specialists of Roskosmos enterprises held work on the schedule of the first starting day. Today, the active phase of preparation for the launch, which is scheduled for Monday, continues.

On the starting complex “Vostok” Plates No. 31, it is planned to conduct a control set of startup readiness of the Overclocking block “Frigate”, as well as work on the “Technological Preparation” regime. In the afternoon, general tests will be held during which the start and flight of the carrier missile must be simulated until the orbital block is separated, telemetry information will be analyzed.

Overclocking block “Frigate” Production of the SA Science and Production Association Lavochkina (part of Roscosmos State Corporation) ensures the effective implementation of all tasks to eliminate one or more spacecraft on working orbits or flying from the land of the trajectory. The entire removal process is carried out autonomously, without interference from the Earth. The highest reliability, the possibility of starting with four cosmodromes and, practically, the ideal accuracy of the elimination, give an accelerated block of indisputable competitive advantages over world counterparts.

The basis of the structural-layout diagram of the accelerated unit is the tank block built on a monoblock support scheme. It has a torusferic configuration consisting of six spherical tanks, separated by spherical bottoms. Four of them are the pots of oxidizing agent and fuel, two tanks are compartments for placing onboard devices and equipment.
