Gazprom refused to book gas supplies through Poland

Gazprom, the fourth time in a row refused to book capacity for gas supplies through the gas pipeline “Yamal – Europe” on Friday through Poland, writes TASS with reference to the auction results on the GSA Platform platform. The auction was offered capacity for pumping about 90 million cubic meters per day.

Reduce transit reservation through the Russian company’s pipeline started from December 17, and from December 20, it has completely refused it.

The physical flow of gas from December 21 goes to the reverse direction from Germany to Poland. In this Gazprom, at the same time noted that the company supplies fuel to Europe in accordance with applicable contracts, according to consumer applications.

On December 22, gas in Europe went up to a historic maximum, the price exceeded a 2150 dollars a thousand cubic meters. The sharp jump was explained not only to a decrease in pumping through the “Yamal – Europe” pipeline, but also news about possible cooling in Europe.
