Lawyer in the Moscow Board of Lawyers “Decree” Tatyana Pakhtov warned Russians about the need to pay a tax from a number of gifts. She told the “Prime” agency, from which surprises from loved ones and relatives for the New Year will have to pay.

According to a lawyer, from the money received or the gifts themselves in a natural form to pay personal income NDFL, but there are exceptions.

“In the case of obtaining real estate, vehicles, shares, shares, shares, payment of NDFL is obligatory,” the lawyer specified. Pakhtova added that if you received a property from a family member or a close relative, paying ndfl not needed.

In the case when banks within the framework of promotions give their customers one or more shares of large companies, the bank itself is obliged to pay this tax. Also, the lawyer reminded that individuals who are not individual entrepreneurs pay personal income tax at the place of residence no later than July 15 of the year following the expired tax period.

Earlier in December, the deputies were offered to establish New Year’s payment to pensioners in the amount of the retired retirement. One of the authors of the document, the leader of the party “Fair Russia – for the truth” Sergey Mironov, said that the New Year’s payment would help the pensioners to celebrate the New Year and not to climb the debts on loans to buy gifts. He noted that parliamentarians vote for the initiative if the government is supported.
