Most Russians planned to work after retirement

Most of the Russians surveyed (84 percent) plan to continue to work after retirement. This is reported by TASS with reference to the Alfactory Analytical Center survey.

According to a survey, only four percent of respondents refuse to continue labor activities after reaching the retirement age.

The remaining 12 percent responded that they had not yet thought about retirement employment. At the same time, most of the respondents (77 percent) actively invest in their retirement age. 23 percent of respondents prefer to live “here and now”, postponing only on urgent needs.

1.2 thousand respondents from all regions of the country took part in the survey.

On December 23, Russian President Vladimir Putin responded to the question of plans to index pensions above the level of actual inflation. According to the head of state, the government will do everything to fulfill the promises of past years on pensions. He also promised that in 2022 decisions on pensions of the power unit will be made to level the incomes of those who work in law enforcement agencies and in power structures as a whole.
