The development of a modification of an anti-aircraft rocket and cannon complex (PCPC) “Pentes-cm-SB” on a tracked chassis for land and airborne troops is expected to be completed next year. The readiness of the new Russian PRPC in an interview with the “Red Star” revealed the head of military air defense (air defense) of the Armed Forces of Russia, Lieutenant-General Alexander Leonov.
“The complex will have two types of anti-aircraft controlled missiles and have an enlarged zone of defeat. Both works are planned to be completed in 2022,” said Military.
According to him, the development of the Pacirry-CM-SVRPC is carried out simultaneously with the creation of a 57 mm anti-aircraft artillery complex “Derivation-Air Defense”.
In October, the Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces General, Oleg Salyukov, said that in the near future it is planned to adopt an anti-aircraft missile gun “Pole-SM-SV”, the anti-aircraft artillery complex “Derivation-air defense” and the car for the separation of zenital shooters “Typhoon air defense”.
