Putin drew attention to position of Russian language in Kazakhstan

Russian President Vladimir Putin drew attention to the position of the Russian language in Kazakhstan. The head of state appreciated the high role of Russian in the Central Asian republic and thanked Nur-Sultan for attentive attitude towards a linguistic issue during an annual large press conference, whose broadcast on YouTube leads TASS.

“Kazakhstan is a Russian-speaking country in the full sense of the word,” Putin said. According to the president, this is evidenced by the increase in the number of Russian-speaking schools and branches of Russian universities. Putin added that Kazakhstanis compete for income into these educational institutions.

In addition, the Russian president reminded other sectors of cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan. Putin especially noted the cosmic and defense spheres. The president positively looks at the deepening of the professionalism of Kazakhstani specialists in astronautics, and also noted that Russia already supplies weapons in the Republic of Intro-Russian Prices.
