Alexander Misurnkin The first of the cosmonauts took part in the post-flight tests on the helicopter and the planet plant simulator as part of the Experiment “Constellation LM-21/22”.
The experiment itself is carried out at the Center for Cosmonaut Training since 2013. However, earlier, its main components were tests for astronauts on exit-2 simulators, TS-18 and DON-Soyuz. Recently, helicopter and simulator simulator were added to them.
at least a third of the Roscosmos Cosmonauts detachment has already participated in new studies, but they treated the discharge of the pre-flight. A short space expedition (12 days per MKS as the EP-20 crew commander) allowed Alexander Misurnkin to start others to start the post-flight research on new simulators, which are essentially a helicopter and planet ship. For the EP-20 crew commander, the Experiment “Constellation LM-21/22” runs along an extended program. Daily tests began on the next day after the return of the astronaut to land. Behind the three stages of the experiment, there are two more – on the simulators “TS-18” and “Don Union”.
Research work “Constellation” is carried out in order to study the possibilities of a person when flying to far space and work on the surfaces of the Moon and Mars. The main task is to understand how the space flight factors affect the operator activity of the cosmonauts.
In the CPK of this area of research, special attention is paid and carried out a truly large-scale work. For example, the report on the “constellation” only for the current year is about 500 pages in the amount. The activities of the Center specialists in this direction did not remain unnoticed, this year the author’s team of the CPC was presented by Gagarin Prize.
