The President also told about what industries and policies and politicians have achieved the greatest development. “Now we are talking about the synchronization of customs and tax affairs and legislation. It is extremely important in order to ensure a uniform understanding of how we will act jointly,” Putin revealed the main directions of work at the moment. According to the president, these areas are the main for the further integration of the two countries, and people must feel these changes.
Putin added that negotiations with Belorussia were long and difficult. “I must say that [Belarusian President] Alexander Grigorievich [Lukashenko], and his whole team is not easy negotiators,” said the Russian leader. Nevertheless, the parties were able to achieve a common understanding of the integration of the countries of the Union State.
