US Military Court accused of justifying rapist and deleting case

US Army Serviceman Erin Skanlon told the public about the case of rape from a special forces from Delta’s detachment and an arbitrarian of a military court who justified the rapist and deleted all the case materials. This is reported by the issue of Daily Mail.

Scanlon served in the artillery division in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, on the younger officer position. The woman claims that on September 9, 2016 was raped at a party organized by Suspected Christobal Lopez Vallejo. At that time, he was still in military service.

According to the materials of the publication, Scanlon was not the only victim. The police accused Valheo in several sexual crimes, but ultimately the case was transferred to the military who sued Vallejo. The operative “Delta” was recognized as innocent, but no transcript or records, except for the trial of the court hearing, was left. The main witness was his colleague who killed his best friend a few months earlier and had psychological health problems.

In April 2019, Scanlon filed a claim for $ 10 million against the US Army, arguing that Fort Bragg is investigating and considering the case of sexual violence with large violations. But the military rejected the claim, referring to the law that does not allow the servicemen to submit such statements. The officer quit from the army and continues to seek justice.

In July, Daily Mail reported a military personnel of the British army, which was accused of rape of four colleagues. A criminal case was initiated against him, he was sentenced to imprisonment for seven years.

Previously, the North Carolina Military Court sentenced to the life sentence of the American soldier for the rape of a minor. According to judicial documents, his wife intentionally pursued a witness in the case and discouraged him to cooperate with representatives of law enforcement agencies.
