President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that an attempt was prevented in the country to make terrorist attacks, BelTA reports.
According to Lukashenko, in the afternoon of December 21 and night, seven people were detained on December 22, who were trying to commit terrorist attacks. This was reported by the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic.
“We just watched and waited when they do it under the camera. Everyone was filmed,” the president said at a meeting with the asset of the Gomel region. According to him, the terrorist attacks tried to commit against civil servants – in particular, the employees of the prosecutor’s office and judges.
He added that another suspect is looking for security forces. “It seems to be run to Russia. But there will bring it to us,” said Lukashenko.
