The main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Belarus completed the investigation of the criminal case against the Belarusian artist Ales Pushkin. It is reported by Telegram-channel edition Zerkalo.io.
Pushkin was charged with the deliberate commission of group actions aimed at the rehabilitation of Nazism and the abuse of government symbols. In particular, he is charged at the exhibition portrait of the Belarusian collaborationist Evgeny Zhikhar, as well as publishing portraits of the leader of the Belarusian Corps of Self-Defense Mikhail Vitushko and the commander of the landing battalion of Abver “Dvitts” Vsevolod Rodzko.
In addition, the artist is accused of repetition in March 2021 during the exhibition of modern Belarusian art in Kiev Perfomance, which he first accomplished in 1999 and received it for two years conditionally. Then Pushkin turned around the presidential administration near the building a car with manure and the Constitution of Belarus and a poster depicting the head of the Republic of Alexander Lukashenko.
Earlier in the Volgograd region of the 54-year-old Russian, accused of rehabilitation of Nazism for placing a veteran collage with pornographic materials. It is noted that the cause of his act a man could not be explained.
