Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on additional indexation of maternal capital on the actual level of inflation, and not projected. Changes will enter into force on February 1. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
Now the size of the materials will be calculated on the basis of the consumer price growth index for the previous year in accordance with the indexing coefficient, which is determined by the government. According to current legislation, the size of maternal capital is indexed by forecast inflation. Now Matkapital is indexed by actual inflation. In addition, from February 1, 2022, the size of the Matkapalo for the first child will be 483 thousand 881 rubles, for the second and subsequent – 639 thousand 431 rubles.
Previously in December, too high price increases promised to compensate and Russian retirees. As the head of the Ministry of Labor Anton Kotyakov said, the department is now working out proposals for additional compensation for high inflation. The adopted budget provides for the indexation of pensions by 5.9 percent, but at the end of the year inflation will be somewhat higher.
